The Ashcroft Sullivan New England Economic Development Center (“ASNEEDC” or “Regional Center”) received federal approval as a regional center in November 2015.

Ashcroft Sullivan New England Economic Development Center intends to offer qualifying investments in opportunistic, high-quality real estate and private equity projects for its EB-5 investors.

Approved Geography

The Ashcroft Sullivan New England Economic Development Center approved New England counties: Bristol County, Norfolk County, Plymouth County, and Providence County.

Within the ASNEEDC geographic limits, it will focus on projects in Target Employment Areas (“TEA“). TEAs allow immigrant entrepreneurs to place $800,000 to create ten full-time direct or indirect jobs instead of the customary $1,050,000 for placement outside of a TEA.

The combined value of finding opportunities located both inside the Regional Center and inside TEA provides both:

    1. Direct and indirect job credit; and
    2. A lowered investment threshold to $800,000 for the entrepreneur.

The Regional Center can only accept USCIS approved projects within the designated areas. As mentioned earlier, our target and goal is TEA projects, however, we are open to all EB-5 Projects within the geographical locations.

In addition, our Regional Center is approved to service portion of the Rhode Island as well. Our territory for Rhode Island is the Providence area.

These are the areas The Ashcroft Sullivan New England Economic Development Center can service. However, there are other Regional Centers in other states, city’s, and towns that can service those particular area. Eb-5 Investors should research the designated area of the project, the project, and the Regional Center before makeing an investment.

What is a EB-5 Regional Center?

An EB-5 Regional Center (“RC”) is an organization with special designation issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”), which allows the business to solicate and manage investors capital for approved projects. The Regional Center is seperate from the EB-5 investor and the project.

A Regional Center sole purpose is to assist the EB-5 applicant with their application process, source approved proejcts for investments, and manage the investment. It is a conduit between the two parties, making sure the project is creating the appropriate amount of jobs for the investment and the investor is focused on their application.

The Regional Center is legally allowed to market and solicate foreign investors in other countries such as China, India, Mexico, Brazil, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and many more. We promote the projects in certain countries and territories, communicate with the investor, explain the investment process, time line, and risk associated with the investment.
